Dear Potential Customer:

We are delighted that you are interested in the Haywood County Agriculture & Activities Center. The center is conveniently located on twenty-six acres in the beautiful western North Carolina mountains. This multi-facet, year round, facility can be utilized by all. This includes two completely enclosed, heated buildings with more than 25,000 square feet of vending concourse and exposition space. Building 'A' has a fully-equipped kitchen, concession, and two restrooms. The 12,000 sq. ft. open livestock barn has 60 stalls, movable panels, and one wash bay. In addition, there is the Lion’s Club barn that includes 30 stalls, with planned wash bays. The regulation-size covered arena is well lighted and has a permanent dirt floor. We are currently in the process of installing permanent arena seating, and when completed, will have a 2784 seating capacity, with 30 designated handicapped. There is water and electricity for 20 outside vending sites or they can be used for self-contained RV’s and travel trailers. The level field below the arena area is ideal for carnivals or a small circus. Our facility is close to area motels, restaurants, shopping, two fitness centers, hospital, and many activities to fill any spare time.
